ESR project:
Processing and doping of polymer thin films and bulk materials
Background
Mariavittoria Craighero earned her Master of Science in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology in 2019 at Politecnico di Milano. She completed her master thesis project in Prof Christian Müller’s group (Chalmers University of Technology) as a visiting student, working on the processing of polymeric conductive fibers for smart textiles and on the characterization of their mechanical and electrical properties.
Current research
Fascinated by polymer processing and fiber spinning, Mariavittoria chose to start her PhD funded by HORATES, focusing on processing and doping of organic materials for thermoelectric application under supervision of Prof. Christian Müller (Chalmers University of Technology) with the co-supervision of Prof. Martin Brinkmann (CNRS – University of Strasbourg).
