Today, the innovative training network HORATES was officially launched with a kick-off meeting. Due to the current COVID restrictions, the event took place online. Starting today, HORATES will train 15 young talents over a period of four years in the highly innovative field of organic and hybrid thermoelectrics through research projects and a variety of training activities.
The kick-off meeting was opened by Martijn Kemerink from the University of Heidelberg, who acts as scientific coordinator and spokesperson of HORATES. Subsequently, the content of the different work packages was presented in 45-minute presentations by the principal investigators of the different beneficiaries. The different boards for steering and supervising the activities in the HORATES network were also presented.
