ESR project:

Fabrication and characterization of hybrid thermoelectrics

Background

Angus Hawkey completed a M.Sc. in Chemistry at Queen Mary University of London with a thesis on the dispersion and optoelectronic properties of carbon nanotubes. Following his studies, he worked in formulation chemistry and carried out research on thermo-responsive composite materials

Current research

Angus is now a PhD student at Heidelberg University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jana Zaumseil. He investigates the fabrication and characterization of new thermoelectric materials made of conjugated polymer and carbon nanotubes.
