Objectives

  • Characterization of anisotropic thermal properties of conjugated polymers and nanocomposites
  • Analysis of thermal transport properties, including specific heat of polymers and composites

Expected results

  • New and improved measurements methods and routines for analyzing thermal transport properties of TE polymers in bulk or as thin films
  • Development of accurate specific heat measurements of device-sized TE polymer components

Skills acquired

  • TE characterization with emphasis on thermal transport properties and specific heat capacity
