Objectives
- Develop an expertise in the spectroscopy of organic and hybrid TE materials to determine structural, electronic and thermal properties
- Determination of thermoelectric and structural properties of samples with different microstructure, doping and degree of orientation
- Evaluation of stability in OTE systems
- Investigation of the sensing capabilities of TE materials using spectroscopic techniques.
Expected results
- Fabrication of samples with gradients in thermal annealing and doping level for combinatorial assessment of TE properties enabling the correlation between electrical and thermal transport in organics
- Characterization of anisotropic properties of oriented samples, including free standing films later used for sensing applications
- Determination of protocols to assess stability in OTEG.materials
Skills acquired
